The function of sculpture and drawing as a surrogate vessel in my work is to build an armature in an unspecific void. It is a residual architecture of forces culled from limits, dissent, labor, entropy, utility, and the everyday that intersects with notions of abstract formalism and meta-modernism. Experimentation leads me to build a pursuit of meaningful meaningless, to leave with answers to previously unrealized questions about the inexplicable and fundamental.
